A major project on evaluating technology for the poor co-led by Bish has received funding.

From MIT News: “$25 million in funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as part of a new five-year project intended to fight poverty by developing and evaluating useful technologies for communities around the globe.”

Professor Sanyal’s latest book, “Planning Ideas That Matter: Livability, Territoriality, Governance, and Reflective Practice,” co-edited with Larry Vale and Christina Rosen, has been released by MIT Press.
